Door Access Control

Service Overview

In order to have the most efficient and convenient way of protecting the access of buildings and offices, the door access control is installed at building entrances, offices, laboratories and common access doors. A user presents his campus card, facility access card, or mobile phone (for some buildings only) at the access point. There are two types of access control on campus: Online and Offline.

Online Access Control

This kind of access control is mainly installed at building entrances, computer rooms, faculty laboratories, common access doors and also some elevators.

Offline Access Control

This kind of access control is mainly installed at individual offices.

UM App “QR Access”

A user can use your mobile phone – UM App as an alternative to your campus card for authentication when accessing major UM buildings. The initial trial phase covers the entrances between E4 and E6 marked with the following label.
