UM electronic identity (hereinafter referred to as e-ID) can be used as an alternative to the physical UM Campus Card (i.e., staff card, student card) and Alumni Card for identification purpose, provides the benefits of convenience and increased efficiency.

Active UM members (staff, students and alumni) who have a valid UMPASS user account are eligible to use their e-ID via UM Mobile App (UM App) on their mobile devices. Just like the physical UM Campus Card / Alumni Card, your name, photo (applicable to staff and students), student / staff / alumni number and expiry date (if applicable) are shown on your e-ID.
