Training

ICTO Training

In order to make the best possible use of the computing facilities and services, ICTO regularly offers training courses to our staff and students on the use of our computer facilities and PC software packages. ICTO also provides training and briefing to our new students in every academic year, so that they can use our facilities and services in a proper way.

Training schedule and details will be announced in bulletin. You may contact icto_training if you have any training needs.

ShareDM and eForm Briefing

WebCMS Training Course level 1

Description:

HRS and ICTO coordinated to hold 2 training courses of WebCMS for UM staff members in September, 2018 and with totally 44 staff members attended. In the training sessions, we demonstrated the fundamental operations and elements of WebCMS, introduced the Avada theme, and also covered some tips to avoid bad practice in hosting websites. Besides, the training also offered hands-on exercises for colleagues to build a simple website.

UMMoodle Workshop 4 (2017/2018 1st semester)

This workshop aims to let teaching staff be more familiar with using GradeBook on UMMoodle. In the workshop, ICTO introduced how to setup a GradeBook and how to use grading tools, such as quick grading, aggregation & calculation of grading and grader reports.
