UM Campus Card is a contactless smart card which contains a highly secure chip based on open global standards for RF interface and cryptographic methods. It can support multi-applications with fast and secure data transmission. UM Campus Card is issued to members of the University of Macau academic and administrative staff (Staff Card) by the Human Resources Section (HRS), to students (Student Card) by the Registry and the Graduate School.

Just like a traditional student or staff ID card, your name, photo, student or staff number and library ID are printed on the card. Also, for operational requirements, some data such as your name, student or staff no., is stored on the embedded microprocessor chip.

The UM Campus Card serves as:

• A traditional identification card;
• A library card;
• A staff medical card;
• A facility access card to various facilities on campus, including the computer rooms, laboratories, offices, etc.
