Data center is facility used to house computer, server and networking systems and associated components for the information technology (IT) needs, which typically involve storing, processing and serving large amounts of mission-critical data. It is a vital part of our campus information technology (IT) infrastructure. It includes redundant or backup power supply systems, cooling systems, fire suppression systems, redundant networking connections, security and monitoring systems for providing a suitable environment for university’s core applications.
