SSL VPN Service
Service Overview
The SSL VPN service provides secure remote access to UM’s Intranet resources via web browsers or dedicated VPN clients. This service is essential for accessing administrative systems (Student Services, Staff Services) and other internal applications from outside the campus network.
Access Options
- SSL VPN Client: Required for accessing systems not available via browser. Supported platforms include:
- Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
- macOS
- Linux (CentOS/RHEL, Ubuntu/Debian)
- iOS and Android
- Web Browser: Direct access to UM Intranet pages via https://sslvpn.um.edu.mo
Security Requirements
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is mandatory when accessing SSL VPN from non-UM networks to enhance account security and protect both personal and institutional data.
