Video On-Demand (VOD)
Service Overview
VOD (Video On-Demand) is a media distribution platform that allows viewers to retrieve and play the video at any time, users can simply click on a link and start watching a video. The VOD service is used for university official website and its related purpose, users can apply the VOD folders by Faculty and Department Unit.
Getting started
Access
The service is for either Internet or Intranet access.
Apply
Please send the following information to ICTO Help Desk, embedding the endorsement of the head of your Faculty or Department Unit.

Support Format
Window Media Format (.mp4)
Note: Users may fail to load your videos if the size is too large (over 300MB is not recommended) using their mobile devices. The file size of video is recommended to be under 50MB which is around 5 minutes.
Recommended Uploaded Video Format
Please download and use HandBrake (download here) to transcode your video.

ICTO reserves the right on replacing the large size video when necessary.
