Information Security Tips (March 2026) – Stay Alert and Help Prevent Phishing Attacks
Recently, targeted phishing attacks have become increasingly rampant. Hackers often use trending topics to disguise scam messages, attempting to lure you through email, text messages, websites, or phone calls into clicking links, downloading files, or providing personal information. To protect your accounts and financial security, please keep the following points in mind:
- Do not trust any message from unknown sources
Whether it’s email, text messages, or social media messages, if the content mentions “urgent,” “prize,” “account anomaly,” or includes links or attachments, stay calm and verify first. Do not click or download anything immediately. - Install and regularly update antivirus software
Ensure your computer is equipped with reliable antivirus tools, and update and scan regularly to strengthen overall protection. - Be vigilant of fake websites disguised as official pages
When logging into banking, shopping, or government services, it is recommended to use official apps downloaded from trusted app stores. If using a browser, manually type the URL and confirm it begins with https:// and displays a padlock icon. Never log in through links provided in messages. - Stop immediately and report when encountering suspicious situations
If you suspect a scam message or notice abnormal activity, do not reply, click, or download anything. You may verify through official channels. - Regularly check the security settings of your accounts and devices
Make it a habit to change passwords regularly, enable two-factor authentication (2FA), and disable unnecessary remote access features to reduce the risk of intrusion.
Protecting information security starts with being attentive, let’s work together to strengthen our anti-fraud awareness!
