We introduced the conversion of PDF files from various sources, editing text in PDF, how to design interactive forms in PDF, creating professional PDF portfolios, and other PDF practical skills using Foxit.
In order to let colleagues know more about the intermediate and advanced features of Microsoft Office 2019, ICTO organized training courses in June 2023. Courses were held at ICTO computer rooms and taught by CPTTM appointed instructor. The intermediate and advanced Excel features help colleagues become more productive and efficient in daily work.
In order to promote the use of High Performance Computing Cluster (HPCC), and share user experience, “HPCC Coral User Forum 2023” organized by ICTO, was held on 19 April 2023. Invited speakers: Prof. Wang San Ming, Prof. Yan Ru, and Prof. Wong Fai, shared their successful research stories and experiences using HPCC. ICTO also introduced new resources and services in HPCC Coral that can support research and academic work.
The workshop focused on the topic of ” Multi-media compression & Advanced Tips for using e-bulletin board” which included two main parts. Firstly, participants learned the skills of publishing multimedia content on websites, including the basics of compressing videos without sacrificing quality to achieve faster loading times and better user experiences. Secondly, the workshop conducted on the advanced features and interface functions of the newly launched electronic bulletin board, not only provides a way to make attractive bulletins but also improves productivity and simplifies the workflows.
On 30 November 2022, the ACTS of ICTO organized two sections of the Workshop “Introduction to the new e-bulletin system release in 2023”. Representatives from the ACTS introduced the features of new system and performed the demonstration. A total of 100 colleagues attended the workshop.
