UMMoodle Staff Workshop4 (2019/2020 1st semester)

This workshop aims to let the teaching staff be more familiar with using GradeBook on UMMoodle. In the workshop, ICTO introduced how to set up a GradeBook and how to use grading tools, such as quick grading, aggregation & calculation of grading and grader reports.

UMMoodle Staff Workshop3 (2019/2020 1st semester)

In 2019-10-16, ICTO hosted a UMMoodle workshop to let the teaching staff be more familiar with using Quiz activity on UMMoodle. In the workshop, ICTO introduced how to create a Quiz activity with different question types and how to manage the question bank. Topics include:

Information Security Seminar 2019

In order to let staff and students know more about Internet security in our daily life, and how to protect data in electronic products, ICTO organized two sessions of Information Security Seminar.  Information Technology expert from Hong Kong introduced the importance of Information Security and the approaches of data privacy protection.

WebCMS Broken Link Checking Service briefing

In order to let staff know more about the new Broken Link Scanning Services and URL Shortener Services, ICTO organized one briefing session on 2019/08/23.

ShareDM and eForm Briefing

HRS and ICTO coordinated to hold a briefing of ShareDM and eForm to UM staff members. During the briefing, we introduced the features and benefits of ShareDM and demonstrated how to create eForm for registration.

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Training

ICTO organised two sessions of Adobe Photoshop CS6 to staff members in June.

WebCMS Training Course level 1

ICTO held a training course of WebCMS for UM staff members in May 2019 and totally 12 staff members attended. In the training sessions, we demonstrated the fundamental operations and elements of WebCMS, introduced the Avada theme, and also covered some tips to avoid bad practice in hosting websites. Besides, the training also offered hands-on exercises for colleagues to build a simple website.
